VFR/N Course
Night VFR
Course objective
The course aims to transmit the knowledge to the pilot to safely fly on VFR conditions during the night with ICAO defying it as “The hours between the end of evening civil twilight and the beginning of morning civil twilight or such other period between sunset and sunrise”.
Training program
Training program is divided in theorical and practical part. Theorical part, which is made of 5 hours of classroom, points its spotlight on the differences between day and night flights, including sensorial factors, illusions and peculiarities.
Practical instructions is developed in 5 flying hours, all flown at night, 4 of them Dual (including a cross country flight) and 1 hour solo flight with 5 take offs and 5 landings.
Requirements
Pilots who apply shall:
- Be CPL(A) or PPL(A) holders
- Hold a valid medical certificate
Privileges
VFR/N rated pilots can legally operate VFR flights without daylight.
