Course objective

The aim of this CR(A) course is to train the student pilot for a first class rating on single- engine single pilot classified as high-performance non-complex airplane, to act as pilot on Piper PA-46 (SPA). This course is applicable for both M500 and M600 variant and JET PROPELLER LCC.

Training Program

Theorical training program consists of 15 hours of theorical knowledge course and at least 10 hours of practical training, with not less than 2 hours of dual command in simulated engine failure procedures.

Requirements

An applicant for a first class rating for a single-pilot aeroplane classified as a high-performance shall:

Hold at least a PPL(A)
Have at least 200 hours of total fllying experience, of wich 70 hours as PIC on aeroplanes and
1. Hold a certificate of a satisfactory completition of HPA course or
  Have passed the ATPL(A) theorical knowledge examinations or
2. Hold, in addition to a Part FCL licence, an ATPL(A) or CPL(A)/IR with theorical knowledge credit for ATPL(A), issued in accordance with Annex 1 to the Chicago Convention

Privileges

The accomplishment of this course allow the pilot to fly with this class of aircraft.

Credits

An applicant who already holds a class rating for an aircraft type, with the privilege for either single-pilot or multi-pilot operations, is considered to have already fulfilled the theorical requirements when applying to add the privilege for the other form of operation on the same aircraft type. The theorical training shall be determined by the Head of Training based on the previous flight experience.
