Class Rating Instructor
Course objective
The course aims to transmit the competences to become a CRI.
Training program
Training program includes:
- 25 hours of theorical instruction
- 10 hours of technical training, including a knowledge revision and the ability to prepare and conduct a lesson
- 3 flight hours for SEP airplanes and 5 for MEP, Dual command with a qualified FI(A) as specified in part FCL.905.FI
Requisiti Preliminari
Pilots who want to apply shall:
- Be a CPL(A) holders
- Hold a valid medical certificate
- Have 300 hours of total flight time if SEP, 500 if MEP
- Have 30 PIC hours in the respective airplane class
Privileges
CRI certificate allows an instructor to train to obtain, renew or revalidate a class rating. CRI privileges are restricted to the airplane class previously examined. Nevertheless, if the CRI has satisfied in the last 12 months the following requirements, they can work as CRI for more classes:
- 15 flight time hours as PIC in the respective class
- A training flight as CRI together with anoter CRI already certified for the same class
